Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport. :
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a friendly representative from our team will be there to greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. You will have the chance to meet with your experienced guide today and take advantage of the opportunity to address any remaining concerns or inquiries you may have regarding your upcoming trek to Everest Base Camp.
Day 2 : Half day Sightseen of Kathmandu city, overnight Hotel :
Embark on a tour of Kathmandu’s major sporting attractions, including the Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Monkey Temple, and the ancient city of Bhaktapur.
Day 3 : Drive to Airport & Flight to Lukla & Trek to Phakding :
Flights to Lukla are now departing from Manthali Airport, which is a 4-hour drive from Kathmandu, due to recent regulations and upgrades. After the drive, there will be a 20-minute flight to Lukla from Manthali. Our local porters will be waiting to welcome you. As we descend to Phakding, you’ll see Tibetan prayer flags and hear locals reciting mantras along the trail.
Day 4 : Phakding to Namche :
Today’s trail goes through forests, villages, and yak pastures. We’ll see Thamserku at the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. After lunch, we’ll head to Namche Bazaar, the largest Sherpa village in the Khumbu Region. It’s also the starting point for many expeditions and trekking groups, and a great place to buy last-minute items like chocolates. We’ll trek for approximately 6 hours, reaching an altitude of 3440 m/11,280 ft. We’ll stay in a lodge and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner (B/L/D).
Day 5 : Acclimatization Day in Namche :
Today is an acclimatization day, but we won’t be idle. Being active is the best way to acclimate. We can hike around or visit the Khumjung village school established by Sir Edmund Hillary. We’ll have stunning views of several prominent peaks, including Mount Everest.
Day 6 : Namche to Tengboche :
Today’s trail offers a chance to take beautiful photographs without steep ascents or descents. You’ll see Stupas, prayer flags, Mani walls, and stunning views of Ama Dablam. The highlight is Tengboche Monastery, reached via a dusty switchback trail. The panoramic vistas are breathtaking, and you might attend a service with a small donation. Don’t forget to light some butter lamps while you’re there.
Day 7 : Acclimatization or Rest Day at Tengboche. :
Spend the acclimatization day in Dingboche resting to adjust to the altitude. The stone-walled agricultural village offers views of Everest and Ama Dablam. Use the day to hike to Ama Dablam Base Camp or nearby Chhukung for panoramic views of Makalu, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam before spending the night.
Day 8 : Tengboche to Dingboche :
After breakfast, trek through birch and rhododendron forests, descend to cross the Imja River, and climb to Pangboche to explore its ancient monastery. Continue through the Imja Valley alongside the Lobuche River to reach Dingboche for an overnight stay, enjoying panoramic views of peaks over 8000 m.
Day 9 : Dingboche to Louche :
Following a rest day, ascend to Dughla and trek through the Khumbu Glacier moraine. Climb the challenging Chupki Lhara, a prayer-flag-adorned memorial site for Babu Chiri Sherpa, before continuing along the icy terrain to Lobuche. Spend the night here, enjoying views of Khumbutse, Pumori, and surrounding peaks.
Day 10 : Lobuche to Gorakshep via EBC :
Gorakshep, meaning “Dead Raven” in the Sherpa language, serves as the final guesthouse stop before Mount Everest. Inhabited mainly by trekkers and climbers, the village offers a place to rest, enjoy a hot drink, and acclimatize before the final push. Spend the night at a local guesthouse.
Day 11 : Gorakshep to Labuche via Kalapathar :
Our early morning start is geared towards reaching Kalapattar for a breathtaking sunrise experience. Known for its magnificent vistas, Kalapattar offers close-up views of Everest, Lingtren Peak, Khumbutse, and more. After capturing memorable photographs, we will make our way to Lobuche, where we will spend the night. This allows us to relish the beauty of the Everest region and create lasting memories.
Day 12 : Labuche to Labuche Base Camp :
After breakfast, trek from Lobuche over moderately challenging, rocky terrain to Lobuche East Base Camp. The trail offers panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Thamserku, and Kantega peaks. Spend the night at Base Camp, surrounded by the mountain landscape.
Day 13 : Labuche Base Camp to High Camp :
Today begins with a briefing from your guide on climbing strategies and essential equipment, including crampons and ice axes. After hands-on training for fixed-rope ascents, you will begin the climb to Lobuche East High Camp ($5400\text{ m}$). The route transitions from rocky paths to icy terrain, requiring the use of fixed and man ropes along the way. The day concludes with an overnight stay at High Camp to rest before the summit.
Day 14 : High Camp to Summits back to High Camp :
An early morning start is essential to reach the summit of Lobuche East before noon and avoid strong afternoon winds. After a challenging ascent through steep rock sections, you will reach the icy terrain at 5700 m, where you will use fixed and man ropes for safety. Reaching the pinnacle rewards you with breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Cholatse. After celebrating at the summit, you will descend back to High Camp to spend the night.
High Camp to Pangboche :
Descending from High Camp, we will retrace our steps along the trek route towards Everest Base Camp, making our way back to Lobuche. The trail will lead us down to Pheriche, where we can admire the stunning vistas of Ama Dablam and other majestic mountains. Continuing our journey, we will pass through a scenic path adorned with beautiful rhododendron trees, eventually reaching Pangboche. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit the revered Pangboche Monastery, the oldest in the Khumbu region, and spend the night in Pangboche.
Day 16 : Pangboche to Namche :
From Pangboche, descend along the trail through Tengboche and immerse yourself in the enchanting rhododendron forests. After carefully navigating the gorges and crossing the suspension bridge over the Dudhkoshi River, the path leads to Sansa, an area known for its diverse wildlife. You will then proceed past the Army Camp to reach the vibrant Namche Bazaar, where you will spend the night and soak in the lively atmosphere.
Day 17 : Namche to Lukla :
After a seven-hour downhill trek, we will arrive at Lukla. Here, we will spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for our flight back to Kathmandu, which is scheduled for the following day. Lukla is located at an altitude of 2,840 meters and is the starting point of our trek. We will be staying overnight at a guesthouse before heading to the airport.
Day 18 : Lukla to Manthali-Kathmandu :
Due to peak-season flight updates, all Lukla flights are rerouted through Manthali Airport in Ramechhap rather than Kathmandu. Your journey begins with a 5–6 hour drive from Kathmandu to Manthali to catch your flight to Lukla. On your return, you will fly from Lukla back to Manthali, followed by a scenic drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 19 : Departure for sweet home country. :
Get ready for your next adventure as we bid you farewell after breakfast. Our representative will be there to assist you with your transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport, where you’ll take off to your next destination. Please keep in mind that the standard check-out time at the hotel is 11 am. However, if you plan to stay longer in Nepal or your flight departs later in the day, don’t hesitate to let us know, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements. Safe travels!
