Tsum valley one of the hidden treasure valley considered a Beyul (A Scared Hidden Valley) said to be created by The Lord Guru Rinpoche in 8th Century. It a homeland of Tsumba Indigenous people, who speak a unique language influenced by Tibetan language. Local people have declared this valley as a non-violent area.

Tsum valley is rich in its ancient art, culture and religion. It is considered one of the remotest Himalayan valleys with pristine beauty. Trekker can enjoy the magnificent view of several Himalayas like Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal and Boudha Himal. Tsum valley were restricted as recently as 2008. Several Buddhist monasteries, Buddhist Stupa, cave and prayer flags signifies that Buddhist religion is the main religion of inhabitants.

Treks from Arughat along with Soti River following the Budhi Gandaki Valley upstream in the north, crossing the trails slowly higher and higher sub-tropical forest leads to alpine pastures and high mountain desert. You will get opportunity to learn Tibetan culture, Buddhist culture and history of many old monasteries too.

Our Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive to Nepal : A representative from our company or a member of our guide staff will warmly welcome you at the airport. They will be waiting outside the arrival area, holding a sign displaying our company name and logo for your convenience.
Day 2 : Trek Soti Khola to Machha Khola : Enjoy a scenic drive through lush hills and valleys, passing Arughat Bazaar on the way to Soti Khola.
Day 3 : Trek Soti Khola to Machha Khola : Begin trekking through picturesque terraced fields, waterfalls, and forested trails.
Day 4 : Trek Machha Khola to Jagat : Follow the Budhi Gandaki River, crossing suspension bridges and charming villages.
Day 5 : Trek Jagat to Lokpa : Pass through subtropical forests, exploring traditional villages and serene landscapes.
Day 6 : Trek Lokpa to Chumling : Enter the Tsum Valley and trek through forests and terraced farmland.
Day 7 : Trek Chumling to Chhokangparo : Ascend to Chhokangparo, enjoying stunning views of the Ganesh Himal range.
Day 8 : Trek Chhokangparo to Nile : Explore monasteries and villages, immersing yourself in Tsum’s cultural richness.
Day 9 : Trek Nile to Mu Gompa : Visit Mu Gompa, the region’s highest monastery, and hike to Dhephyudonma Gompa (4,060m / 13,320ft).
Day 10 : Trek Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa : Descend to Rachen Gompa, renowned for its vibrant Tibetan Buddhist heritage.
Day 11 : Trek Rachen Gompa to Gumba Lungdang : Reach Gumba Lungdang, nestled amidst a pristine forest with breathtaking mountain views.
Day 12 : Trek Gumba Lungdang to Ganesh Himal Base Camp : Enjoy a challenging hike to the base camp, offering close-up views of Ganesh Himal peaks.
Day 13 : Trek Gumba Lungdang to Lokpa : Retrace your steps to Lokpa, savoring the serene trails.
Day 14 : Trek Lokpa to Jagat : Descend gradually while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
Day 15 : Trek Jagat to Lapu Bensi : Trek through riverside trails and charming villages to Lapu Bensi.
Day 16 : Trek Lapu Bensi to Arughat Bazaar : Complete the trek at Arughat Bazaar, reflecting on the journey’s beauty.
Day 17 : Drive Arughat to Kathmandu : Return to Kathmandu, ending your adventure with beautiful memories.
