Beginning in Kathmandu, the journey begins with an 8-10 hour drive to Pokhara, located 200 km west of the capital city. From Pokhara, the trek goes towards the village of Ghandruk, where you can explore quaint Nepalese villages and enjoy the stunning mountain views. From Ghandruk, the trek climbs further until you reach Annapurna Base Camp at an altitude of 4130m. Here, you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Annapurna Mountains, including Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), and Dhaulagiri (8167m).

Along the way, you’ll pass through lush forests and meadows, traditional villages, and delight in the smell of wildflowers in the air. The local culture offers plenty of opportunities to explore ancient Hindu and Buddhist temples, monasteries, and learn about the history of the place.
