Upper Mustang Trekking
Upper Mustang trekking is one of Nepal’s most mysterious and least identified kingdoms. The landscape of Mustang is an unproductive moonscape of worn sandstone pillars that are irregular moraine terraces, which presents a colorful mosaic made up mainly of earthen reds, yellows and brown. Upper mustang trekking is moderately easy trekking along the acceptable route to Lo Manthang, which lies in the exceptional heart of Mustang.
The trekking to Mustang is through an nearly treeless barren landscape. Strong winds generally blow across the area in the afternoon, generally subsiding at night. Being in the rain shadow of the Himalaya, Mustang has much less rain then the rest of Nepal.
Upper Mustang lying in the rain shadow of the Himalayas is possibly the last remnant of pristine Tibetan culture. Forbidden & remote rest of the World. As everywhere in the Himalayas, this area provides stunning mountain scenery highlighted by Dhaulagiri at 8167 meters (26,795ft) and Annapurna I at 8091 meters (26,545ft). You will be surrounded by more than 35 mountains over 6000 meters (19,680ft) high. The elevation of the trails rise from 2815 meters (9,233ft) to 3780 meters (12,398ft) above sea level.

Overview
According to Data 2% of population constitute Gurung people in Nepal. Majority of Gurung that are found in Gandaki Province of Nepal that is Manang, Mustang, Dolpo, Kaski, Lamjung. Sikles is one of the first largest Gurung village of Nepal and Ghandruk is second largest Gurung village of Nepal this both village is situated on Annapurna region. Gurung have their own tradition, culture and custom. You can spend a day wandering Gurung village to learn their tradition & culture too. Talking about the vegetation of the region, you can find lush forest occupied by Rhododendrons and various types of Oaks. You have to walks several days through this lush forest smelling the smell of Rhododendron in Spring along crossing numerous perennial rivers and suspension bridges. Rhodondern is a national flower of Nepal too. You can experience a glimpses of rural Nepalese lifestyle too if you went through their life style. Dhal-Bhat is a favorite lunch and dinner in Nepal so here too. Dhal-Bhat is full of Carbohydrate and vegetable with lentils which give more energy to walk whole day.
Most attraction of this treks is stunning views of Mt. Machhapuchre (Fishtail ) and massif Annapurna Mountain. One can see a shadow of Mt. Machhapuchre and Few lake too.
